Whether you're ready to - or just thinking about -- selling your current home this is the place to start. Always keep in mind that you as the Seller and I as your agent work together throughout the entire process.
The first place to start is to contact me for a CMA. A CMA identifies similar homes to yours, including number of bedrooms, baths, square footage, etc. that have recently sold in your area. Important pieces of information include list price, actual sales price, and days on market (how long was the home listed prior to recievig an acceptable offer).
Once we know what similar homes sold for we - you and I - discuss YOUR needs. How mucih is still owed on your mortgage? What is your desired time frame within which to complete the transaction? What would be your required bottom line? and other factors.
Once a realistic list price has been determined we start the paperwork.
Contrary to popular belief, I don't 'sell' your home; you do. What I do is 'market' your home through a variety of sites; the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) and various consumer sites, such as Zillow.com.
Throughout the process you WILL have questions. Don't hesitate to ask them. (Remember when your grade school teacher said that 'the only dumb question is the one you don't ask'?)
